The Lidman Music Studio was founded by Eric and Jeanne Lidman in 1996 to provide quality piano and violin instruction for both children and adults. Individual instruction takes place in a relaxed atmosphere where students can grow in both ability and appreciation of music. Yearly recitals give students the opportunity to develop thier performance skills and allow parents, family, and friends the opportunity to hear their progress and encourage them in their efforts.

To give violin students additional performance opportunities as a group, a string orchestra for beginning students was started in 1997 and a summer string orchestra developed performing yearly at Greeley Park. The orchestra grew to full orchestra from 1998-2003 and was known as the Greater Nashua Youth Orchestra. They performed serious orchestral repertoire, such as Beethoven's Pastorale Symphony and Mozart's Jupiter Symphony etc. Advanced students had the opportunity to perform solos with this orchestra.
